2316 EASL Annual Retreat 2017

Head to the Space Coast and join the Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law Section for its Annual Retreat at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront on June 9-11, 2017! You can expect a weekend of fun, several delicious meals, a 3-hour open bar, networking with colleagues, informative CLEs presented by highly experienced and knowledgeable attorneys, and the election of Executive Council Members and Officers, all of which is included in the registration fee! 

 

Sunday's seminar, To Infinity and Beyond! An Interstellar Exploration of EASL (2316R), Jun 11, 2017, 9:00 AM -  1:00 PM, will include the following topics: impact of estate planning on intellectual property rights; visas for athletes and entertainers in light of recent changes in immigration law and policy; update on recent copyright case law, including the Supreme Court decision in Star Athletica v. Varsity, the status of Disney v. VidAngel, Inc.; and ethical concerns of using practice management software and apps on smartphones and laptops and maximizing productivity.
