Every lawyer should know how to use mobile technology in their law practice and right now, that has all new meaning and importance.
Over the past 10 years, lawyers have developed a better understanding about why they need to use smartphones, laptops and tablets to work and access case file materials, prepare small-scale work documents, review files and be more productive as “Road Warriors” for demanding colleagues and clients.
More recently, however, these demands are even greater. The COVID-19 Pandemic has accelerated the learning curve about how to turn the Road Warrior into a “Remote-Working Lawyer NINJA,” that can be just as productive at home as in the “brick and mortar” office. Now, lawyers need to be able to use their mobile technology to also attend a ZOOM or Microsoft TEAMS hearing, depositions, CLE presentations, Virtual Happy Hours and still manage their law practices, to create the best working environment and client experience.
This presentation will provide advice and tips on how to improve your skill-set and knowledge-base, to optimize mobile technology hardware (like an iPad, laptop and smartphone), software, and applications in your law practice. This advice will help you and your team be more productive, whether it’s in your current remote-work environment or in the office, and these tips will help your litigation practice, from the beginning of the case through mediation and trial.
