The program will provide an explanation of the basic mechanics of Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors (“ABC”) pursuant to Chapter 727 of the Florida Statutes, including a review of the role of the Assignor and Assignee. In addition, the program will present the similarities and differences of liquidation under Chapter 727 vs. the Bankruptcy Code, as well as creative and new uses for assignments.
