General information on the use of AI technology in arbitration including risks, benefits and ethical consideration. Ethics discussion will explore standards of conduct in the legal profession as it relates to AI and the lawyer’s responsibility as an officer of the court (25 minutes Ethics). The presentation will also address the use of how technology (AI) can be beneficial in the arbitration setting. How AI can assist in the selection of arbitrators, discovery, use of exhibits, drafting documents, motions, preparation of closing statements, developing your arbitration advocacy strategy, and ethical issues. Additionally, it will examine how LLM (large language models) work and the security and privacy considerations related to LLMs. This webinar will improve the attorney’s understanding of Artificial Intelligence and the role that it can have in Arbitration proceedings for all practice areas that utilize arbitration.
