Knowing how to navigate in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Photos is essential for creating clear and detailed exhibits for contracts and pleadings. This course will provide an overview presented by an attorney with over 20 years of transactional/litigation experience in preparing contracts, pleading, and various other documents necessitating detailed exhibits. The presentation will demonstrate the various tools available in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Photos that will assist the user to work together with both applications to create an image which then can be formatted as a stand-alone document or be incorporated directly into a Microsoft Word file as an exhibit or attachment. The various tools and commands to be covered in the overview will include (in Adobe) the quick tools toolbar, the drawing tools for lines, arrows, ovals, rectangles, and polygons, the add text tool, and the flattening tool, and (in MS Photos) the adjustment tools for light, color, and clarity, the tools for cropping, straightening, and rotating, and the file resizing tool. Attendees of this course will learn how to create descriptive exhibits and attachments that add clarity to contracts, pleadings, and other documents and which, more importantly, help avoid any chance of ambiguity.
