This program will guide appellate attorneys through the effective use of visual aids and design principles in their legal briefing. The discussion includes how typography, spacing, and color influence readability and comprehension, and teaches participants how to incorporate charts, graphs, and images into appellate briefs to support legal arguments and aid in storytelling. Practical exercises will allow attendees to apply these concepts with featured case studies demonstrating successful visual strategies drawn from the panelists’ training and experience.
