The mission of the 2026 Legislative Update Committee is to organize and coordinate the delivery of a continuing legal education program for the benefit of the members of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and The Florida Bar, which enables attendees to stay current on changes in Florida statutory laws, as well as recent court decisions. The Committee will identify new laws passed by the U.S. Congress and the 2026 Florida Legislature that the committee believes are of the greatest interest to attorneys practicing in the fields of real property, estates, trusts, construction, guardianships and estate planning, as well as select presenters to relay the information to program attendees.
